Structurally Proven Materials

make better structures

Keeler-Glasgow framework kits are available in square and round tube steel varieties. These frames are computer-bent and pre-drilled to facilitate quick, reliable and easy construction with no special tools!
Shown here is a Freestanding Greenhouse framework midway through completion.

Keeler-Glasgow structures are manufactured from superior materials to be ultra-tough in any climate.

Keeler-Glasgow greenhouses are known throughout the United States for durability in gales, torrential rain, and blizzards.

Built ultra-tough beginning with the frame

Each Keeler-Glasgow structure is built upon a galvanized steel bow.  This steel framework resists unsightly rust and oxidation for years.  Framework consists of Steel tubing.  Thunder Coat ® Corrosion Protected Steel assures

3 to 5 times longer life versus conventional galvanized steel tubing.

Galvanized steel trusses increase structural strength further, while also providing versatility letting you cash-in on valuable retail space with hanging plants, and easily installed watering systems, fans, curtains and more.  All designs are available with either round tubing framework for a traditional look or extra-strong square tubing which, in addition to increasing overall strength, minimizes dripping and improves water shed.

Strength by design
Computerized bending capitalizes on the galvanized steel bows' natural strength  as a single piece of tubing  curves from ground to peak.  No miter-cuts or structure-weakening welding are ever necessary. This prevents weak spots and unsightly rusting at connections.  Our two-piece bows deliver improved structural stability compared to the three-piece design used by many greenhouse manufacturing companies.

Gothic Arch Design provides increased headroom and growing room, as well as improved water shed!

Keeler-Glasgow's greenhouse frameworks are computer-bent in a gothic arch design to provide maximum strength and growing space!
Pictured here is a Freestanding Greenhouse
with polycarbonate end frames.

Our gothic arch designs provide both increased headroom and growing space, as well as a steeper roof slope which contributes to better rain and snow shed. Keeler-Glasgow structures stand strong in any climate.
Our exclusive anti-drip purlin connector suspends the purlin away from the poly.  Condensation sheets from top to bottom, improves water shed and minimizes dripping.

Quality components

In addition to the corrosion resistant framework,
Keeler-Glasgow structures are manufactured from only high quality, durable components.
Poly film coverings that enhance performance
Microscopic pigments in poly film diffuse and evenly distribute light for a PAR light transmission of 82%.
Lower leaves get more light so you get faster, fuller plant growth.  This poly film blocks to 360 nm in the UV range, reducing infrared rays (solar load) so fungal sporulation and petal discoloration are greatly reduced.  IR additives to film helps reduce radiant heat loss at night.  And all films are dust and pesticide resistant, too.

Opalescent film improves photosynthesis, growth, and helps boost yields.

Virtually unbreakable polycarbonate sheets
These light-weight, flame retardant sheets, as seen in the Freestanding Greenhouse above, offer an impact strength up to 200x glass and 10x acrylic!  High light transmission softly diffuses over plants, while minimizing damaging effects of UV radiation.  This material is an excellent thermal insulator as well, saving up to 60% in energy use.  Sheets are available in corrugated, twin or triple wall construction, and in clear  or tinted varieties.

Painted sheet metal panels
An excellent choice for roofing or siding material.

Specially treated metal panel is extremely resistant to mildew.  No blistering, peeling or flaking!
Keeler-Glasgow greenhouses are built with specially treated metal panel is extremely resistant to mildew and will not blister, peel or flake!
For maximum protection, each 29 gauge high tensile steel panel receives the following 4-step treatment process:
  1. Coating with a patented aluminum-zinc alloy coating for extra protection.
  2. Bonderizing treatment.
  3. Epoxy primer application  (supplies flexibility and provides an excellent base for the final coat).
  4. A ceramic pigmented  silicone polyester supplies strength, hardness and durability against the effects of sun, wind, rain, heat and cold.

These durable and versatile panels come in a variety of colors with matching trims and include a 20 year warranty against fading and chalking!

Attractive for years to come
  In addition to
specially treated long-life steel framework components and our durable paneling materials, Keeler-Glasgow's exclusive exclusive poly attachment systems extend the life of greenhouse coverings as well as speed assembly and recovery.

  Surelock Systems

Our exclusive  poly fastening systems eliminates
Keeler-Glasgow's exclusive Surelock fastening systems provide a low-cost, strong and easy to assemble method for fastening poly coverings to greenhouse frames!
Attaching poly films to greenhouse frames is a snap with Keeler-Glasgow's Surelock system!!!
lathing or nailing of the poly film to the frame.

These tempered aluminum clamps combined with self tapping screws will secure greenhouse coverings to wood or metal frames WITHOUT cutting or damaging the film in any way!  These clamps retain a firm grip in high-wind conditions and prevent flagging and drastically reduce recovering maintenance.  An excellent "locking memory" lets you reuse the poly fastener over and over.

Complete line of high quality accessories
Be sure to take a look at our full line of high quality accessories and options including benching systems, heating, cooling and other ventilation options, door installations, wire mesh products, ground covers and miscellaneous items all produced from the finest materials available.

Exclusive modular design
Space galvanized structural bows (arches) 4', 5' or 6' apart to best suit the demands of your climate. Closer together strengthens structure for heavy winds, rains, and snows. Wider bow and column spacing suits milder climates (as well as conserves  labor and expense).

Quick Construction saves labor costs
Everything you  need to build our greenhouses  come in the framework kit.  You simply supply the wood for the base frames.  Optional anchor plate system bolts structure securely to your concrete parking lot.  The continuous framework minimizes labor costs by allowing for quick assembly with absolutely no welding or mitering by the customer!!!

Built to your specs
You'll work directly with our design engineer to get the exact greenhouse structure that you need. Choose from round or square tubing. Custom length and widths available. End frames may be fabricated and built to your specifications including options on end wall materials, door installations, heating systems and more.
